The "Spontaneous Circus" Zuzzurulloni
is a self managed free spirited gathering of street artists and musicians happening every year since 1998 during the period of July and August in the fields, woods and mountains of the Vallesanta in Casentino (Tuscany).
Dozens and dozens of acrobats, performers and musicians- young and old, professional and amateur- come from all over, near and far, from all walks of life to form a temporary "artists-village".
How wonderful! To reunite with old friends, to meet new friends and travelling partners, to exchange ideas, experiences, culture, art and affection, to create and put on stage -all together- a grand show to present to the public in the streets and village squares of the local area.
An original and unique show, that's unlikely to be found anywhere else!
A tapestry of clowns, jugglers, acrobats, tightrope walkers, fire eaters, dancers, mimics, magicians and musicians etc, etc...
An improvised company of many diverse artists of every type produce a whirlpool of hullabaloo, an infinitive array of characters and acts capable of thrilling a public of all ages.
An evening with the Zuzzurulloni's transforms a peaceful village into a lively and colourful arena, with a true cascade of astonishing circus entertainment.
Far from being just an execution of a program, the Circus Zuzzurulloni performance creates a fascinating joyful uplifting atmosphere which is equally enjoyed by the performers and the public before, during and after the show.
